Teri: I began writing 6 years ago and have been active in the blogging world for the last 3 of those. It has been an amazing adventure that has become a full-time career choice that I am very proud of.
Immediately after graduating from college with a degree in Business Management/Accounting, we began our family which is now complete with a total of four wonderful children. While I longed to be in the workforce, I knew that my calling was at home with my children. Being there to meet their daily needs and being able to make every event they wished to share was the force behind the creation of Mom to Bed by 8, also know widely as the ‘Iowa Mom’. I wanted to use my knowledge of marketing mixed with the everyday decision process of being a mom to help companies reach consumers on a personal level through my writings. Thus far I have been very successful and happy in doing so.
I am a very active member in many various social networking communities including twitter, facebook, google +, foursquare and inlinked. You can also find me participating in local activities, charities, school and sport functions. I work hard to promote my website as well as the sponsors that work with me. When working with myself and my team, you can expect results.
Michelle: I’m a work at home mom of a beautiful 10 year old daughter, Sian. I grew up and live in beautiful Vancouver, BC Canada where I married my high school sweetheart Paul. We get to enjoy the ocean and the mountains & everything else the west coast has to offer.
I have worked for several years in the post-secondary sector up until late 2011 and have a Master of Arts in Leadership. After discovering the world of mom bloggers I am now the author of the successful blog Powered by Mom. Powered by Mom is a community & family friendly blog that covers a wide range of topics and is also known for its successful giveaway and media events. The super mom concept came from the fact that all moms in some way or another are indeed in my opinion superheroes.
I am very active in various social networking communities such as Facebook, Twitter, Google Plus, Linkedin and Mom blogger societies. Powered by Mom has an impressive following in all of these social media communities and has a fan base that exceeds 17,000 and continues to increase steadily.
I have worked extensively with great success with sponsors to promote their products through Powered by Mom and social media communities. It is my goal to continue to connect consumers and brands of family friendly products through blogging and utilizing my promotional skills and activities. After working most of my career outside the home I have found my true calling through building communities of support, connecting consumers and brands and blogging. I love being able to put my media skills and education to work through the online world.
Tina: I am a wife to an amazing husband and mother of three wonderful boys. They are all the loves of my life. The youngest became the inspiration of my blog Baby Costcutters. He was born with several food allergies and needed a very expensive formula therefor, we needed to find ways to save on other baby items to help balance our budget. Baby Costcutters originally started as a hobby letting others know how to save on baby products and now has turned into a full time hobby with an income. Some would call that a job but, I call it a hobby with perks.
Before Baby Costcutters I attended the University of Southern Mississippi where I received my Elementary Education degree. Then I moved on to attend William Carey University for a Master’s in Elementary Education. I taught kindergarten for four years and then second grade for two years. Our family then moved to south Alabama where I was blessed with being able to stay home with our boys. I truly love being able to stay home and appreciate every moment of it knowing this is not an opportunity every mother gets to have with her kids.
Now Baby Costcutters is not only about saving money on baby products, it also lets readers know more about products and services that could also help to make their lives easier and possibly more enjoyable. I am very active on social media; Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Pinterest, and Google+ letting fans know all the best deals, products, and services. When working with companies I always want to make sure their wonderful brand image comes across strong and relevant.
Really admire what you are doing and for us as well. Would love to be that knowledgeable and would give anything to sharper my skill on PR projects. Your great and never want to fall asleep during any of your posting/reviews. TY from a Nana of Four, one being 2 and such a blessing. God Bless any of those that have the same diagnosis but don’t worry because sometimes you have to ‘Let Go…Let God” and please contact me if you have any question seeing that I’m an advocate for Autistic Speaks,Org.
